Christmas Mark Making

The children have been busy drawing Christmas and winter themed pictures. They took it in turns to roll the dice before having a go at drawing the image on a large piece of paper rolled out on the floor. The children were then encouraged to draw anything they wanted to. The children were reminded to use a tripod grip. 

Angel Craft

The Pre School children have been busy making some beautiful angels. They have chosen between silver and gold and have used painted bubble wrap to create a pattern. We think they will look wonderful on the top of your Christmas trees!

Our Sleigh

The children have been very busy making a sleigh from a large box kindly donated by a parent who saw is potential!

After painting it red the children helped to decorate the sleigh with tinsel. 

It is now ready to go in our Christmas role play area for the children to play with.

Too soon?!

Christmas is creeping into the Pre School classroom with the arrival of our Christmas post office in the role play area. The children have already enjoyed collecting different shaped parcels and dressing up in festive costumes. The post box has encouraged lots of mark making as the children have started writing letters to Father Christmas. The question is...is it too soon? The children don't seem to think so!
