Recycling

As part of our toy topic we have been talking about superheroes.  This week we have all become recycling heroes! At Forest School the children have been busy learning about different materials by sorting rubbish into the correct recycling bags. In the classroom the children have reinforced  this learning through themed play trays and activities. Next week we will carry on with this important  topic, encouraging  our children to reduce, reuse and recycle.

A morning walk

The Pre School children joined their Nursery friends for a morning walk. We visited the hens, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, pigs and goats. We stopped for a little rest and sang some of our favourite songs before heading back to the classroom for a snack. They spotted lots of donated Christmas trees in with the animals!
