Today we talked about Diwali and Bonfire Night and how some people like to celebrate with fireworks. We discussed firework safety and watched a short clip of some fireworks. The children were invited to use a salad spinner to create some colourful firework pictures. The children had to turn the handle as fast as they could to mix the brightly coloured paints. The children were very excited as they lifted off the lid to see what they had created. Our wonderful fireworks paintings are displayed on the classroom door.
