Conker Snails

This week we having been talking about our homes. In circle time we looked at images of different buildings and discussed the features we could see. The children looked carefully at the shapes of the doors and windows and tried hard to spot house numbers. The children then used paper shapes to make house pictures. They added pen drawings of the people who live in their house to their pictures.

At Forest School the children have been busy making their invitations for our Harvest in the Woods event (all welcome, Thursday 11th October 9am at the Forest School hut).

The children had a wonderful time making snails with clay and conkers. The children looked at an image of a snail and rolled out the clay. They selected a conker for the shell and selected a leaf from the autumn tray for their snail to sit on.
