Settling in

As week two comes to end we are all delighted with how well the children have settled into Pre School. The first few weeks have been filled with wonderful opportunities to help the children get to know each other and us. We have played outside in the September sunshine, been on walks to see the animals and joined in with yoga,  French, music and PE sessions. The children have also enjoyed soft play sessions in small groups encouraging team work and group play. There have been lots of free play opportunities allowing the children to follow their own interests and make new friends.

As part of our topic 'Family Fortunes' the children have made hand prints and created faces. Some of their work is displayed in the corridor and on the door. Faces have been made from craft materials, natural resources and even with food! The pizza faces were a huge success and the children were very excited to take them home to eat.
