This week we are talking our homes and what they look like. Today the children used shapes to make houses. To begin with we made pictures on the carpet and then the children were invited to make a house using paper shapes. Adults reinforced the shape names and helped the children to count the edges and corners. The children were encouraged to use positional language when describing what they had made.
