This week we have based a number of our activities around 'The Rainbow Fish' story. A play tray was filled with puppets, shells and numbered pebbles for the children to recreate and extend the story. The children also explored lots of colour mixing activities, decorating fish templates with their fingerprints and dripping coloured paints onto kitchen roll using pippettes. The children played a dice game where they had to roll the dice and colour in the matching scale. The children really enjoyed 'eating a rainbow' which saw them preparing and then eating a selection of brightly coloured fruits.
